The duo are also joined on stage by Nas during their Coachella set

Pooneh Ghana Nick Levine, 17th April 2016 Bernie Sanders recorded a special video message introducing Run The Jewels' set at Coachella yesterday (April 16).
"One of the highlights of running for President over this past year has been getting to know Killer Mike," Sanders said in the video. "His depth of passion, his knowledge and commitment to community is an inspiration to me, and I value his friendship immensely."
"El-P: Keep up the great work and let's get to know each other better in the months to come," Sanders continued. "By the way, I thought the least I could do for both of you was to help you out by bringing a few young people together. So without further ado, I'd like to introduce my friends Run The Jewels."

Sanders has proven a popular candidate with musicians since launching his bid to become President, with Vampire Weekend, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, R.E.M, and Grizzly Bear (who played for the first time in two years at a Sanders rally) also among acts to have declared their support for the Democrat.
Run The Jewels' Coachella set also featured a surprise appearance from Nas, who joined the duo on stage for a version of his track 'Made You Look'.
BOOTS, Gary Clark Jr., Gangsta Boo and DJ Shadow – who recently shared his collaboration with Run The Jewels, a track titled 'Nobody Speak' – also appeared on stage with Run The Jewels during their set.
Meanwhile, Bernie Sanders' campaign is to host its own special mini-festival during Coachella, titled 'Berniechella Block Party'. Around 3,000 people are expected to attend.
