Coachella Organisers Are Launching A Festival With An Unbelievable Lineup Of Legends

Coachella 2016 is going down right now but the organisers are already looking forward and are reportedly going to announce a new festival with some huge rock acts.

According to The Los Angeles Times, Goldenvoice, the promoters behind Coachella, are planning a new three day festival at the same grounds as Coachella, and have booked legends.

Sir Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Roger Waters, The Who, Bob Dylan, and Neil Young have all apprently been lined-up for the festival, six acts that have never been on the same bill together before.

Dylan and The Stones are set to open the festival on the Friday night, McCartney and Young will follow on Saturday while The Who and Waters will finish on Sunday.

“It will be their full stage productions, with full sets,” reportedly said one person close to the festival.

“You won’t get a chance to see a bill like this, perhaps ever again. It’s a show I look forward to more than any show in a long time,” said Young’s manager Elliot Roberts.

These won’t be the only acts playing the festival either. It will be a celebration of those that redefined rock music in its glory days.

This is the second new festival that Goldenvoice will be launching this year. Panorama Festival is due to go down in New York the same weekend as Splendour In The Grass and will be headlined by LCD Soundsystem, Kendrick Lamar and Arcafe Fire.

This new festival will run from 7th to 9th October 2016 at Empire Polo Field just outside of Palm Springs. An official announcement is expected to arrive soon.
