Jimmy Eat World praise Taylor Swift after recent Apple commercial

"She is 100% that awesome of a person you suspect she is”

AppleMusic Sammy Maine, 25th April 2016 Apple Music recently released two Taylor Swift commercials, with the latest seeing the singer mime along to the Jimmy Eat World 2001 hit 'The Middle'.
Jimmy Eat World have returned the love, taking to Instagram for a special #tbt. Frontman Jim Adkins shared an image of the time appeared with Swift when her show stopped in his home state.
Taking to the stage to play 'The Middle,' Adkins remarked "I made a joke at soundcheck about how rising from the middle of the arena in smoke and lights wouldn't help any more people know who this dude with a guitar was.

#TBT to the time @taylorswift invited me to "sit in" at one of her shows in Arizona to play the middle. I made a joke at soundcheck about how rising from the middle of the arena in smoke and lights wouldn't help any more people know who this dude with a guitar was. She chose the bridge of the song to stop and get the crowd to make me blush. Yes, she is 100% that awesome of a person you suspect she is. (And, the kid in me who grew up watching videos to songs like photograph and rock you like a hurricane was beyond stoked to rise from the middle of an arena in smoke and lights)

Apple Music launched in June 2015 and recently surpassed 11 million subscribers. The streaming service simultaneously launched in over 100 countries in June, and while Spotify remains the clear market leaders in terms of subscribers, the service has made rapid inroads in signing up paid listeners.
