Kanye West wants to create a production group together with Metro Boomin

Getty NME News Desk, 13th April 2016 Kanye West wants to create a production group together with Metro Boomin.
The Atlanta producer, who contributed to West’s new album ‘The Life of Pablo’, told FADER that the rapper made the proposal during a recent phone conversation.
According to Metro, West said: “We really should do a production group together.” However, he doesn’t elaborate on whether the production team would be comprised of solely him and West, or include other producers.
Metro contributed production to four tracks on ‘The Life of Pablo’: ‘Waves’, ‘Facts (Charlie Heat Version)’, ‘FML’ and ‘Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1’.
Prior to becoming a rapper West worked as a producer. His production credits include Jay Z’s seminal 2001 album ‘The Blueprint’ and 2003’s ‘The Black Album’; T.I.’s ‘Trap Muzik’ and many more.
In his cover feature, Metro also went on to talk about working with Future and Young Thug, who are currently feuding.
He said of the pair’s rivalry: “You can’t have either one of them feel like you fucking with the other one more than them. Either one of them would be offended… Atlanta, man—everybody’s a male, there’s a lot of ego. Somebody gotta be number one. Neither one of them are the type to settle for number two. I feel like they both motivate each other, and it’s good for the culture and the music—just as long as it stay at that.”
The producer added that he hopes to reconcile the two artists so that they can collaborate in the future. Video: Brit Awards 2016: Foals On Kanye West
