More details about Beyoncé's mysterious 'Lemonade' HBO project reported

One-hour HBO programme is expected to be a 'docu-style special'

Getty Luke Morgan Britton, 19th April 2016 Beyonce premieres her mysterious new project Lemonade on HBO this weekend, with more details emerging about what it might entail.
Lemonade will air on HBO in the US on Saturday night (April 23), with a trailer recently unveiled.
Now USA Today reports that it will be a one-hour "docu-style special", similar to her 2014 HBO special Life is But a Dream, rather than a live concert.
The report cites an unnamed "HBO executive" and states that it is "unclear" whether the special will include any music videos or songs from her long-awaited new album.
NME has approached representatives of Beyonce for a comment on the reports.
Watch the trailer for Lemonade below. “The past and the present merge to meet us here,” it begins with Beyonce’s voice heard asking questions like “What are you hiding?”, “Why can’t you see me?” and “What am I doing, my love?"

Beyoncé released her previous album back in 2013 with no prior build up or marketing. She released the entire fourteen track album along with full music videos.
She recently unveiled her new fashion line called Ivy Park and the singer’s fan base have noted the star's continual references to lemons on social media, suggesting this HBO project could be linked to her new music.
