Radiohead's new album will be released in June, management partner reportedly reveals

Brian Message says the album 'will be like nothing like you've ever heard'

Getty Nick Levine, 14th April 2016 Radiohead's new album will be released in June, the band's management partner Brian Message has reportedly revealed.
Message was the subject of an 'In Conversation' event at east London bar and performance space The Wanstead Tap earlier this evening (April 14). According to a tweet from the venue, he confirmed a June release date during the event and said the album "will be like nothing like you've ever heard".

A statement from the band has since distanced themselves from the quotes and previous reports that Message is the group's manager. It reads: "Brian Message is not Radiohead's manager – he is a partner in Courtyard Management but plays no operational role, and therefore any quotes from last night's event, or any supposition arising from them, should not be attributed to Radiohead's management or be seen as official quotes on behalf of the group. Radiohead are managed by Chris Hufford and Bryce Edge at Courtyard Management."
The band are expected to announce their ninth album shortly, having recently announced a UK tour alongside a series of summer festival dates. The upcoming LP will be the band's follow-up to 2011's 'The King of Limbs'.
Radiohead's long-time visual collaborator Stanley Donwood said last month (March) that he has heard the band's new album, describing the LP as "a work of art", though he also said at the time that the record is not yet finished.
Earlier this week it was reported that Radiohead have shot a new music video with There Will Be Blood director Paul Thomas Anderson, though this has yet to be confirmed by the band.
Radiohead will play the following headline dates:
Amsterdam, Heineken Music Hall (May 20-21)
Paris, Le Zenith (May 23-24)
London, Roundhouse (May 26-28)
New York, Madison Square Garden (July 26-27)
Los Angeles, Shrine Auditorium (August 4, 8)
Mexico City, Palacio De Los Deportes (October 3-4)
