Taylor Swift says the world is 'so bored' of her supposed Kanye West feud
'I don't want to add anything to it, because then there's just more,' the singer says
Jordan Hughes/NME Nick Levine, 14th April 2016 Taylor Swift has declined to comment on the state of her relationship with Kanye West because she thinks people are "so bored" with hearing about it.
Swift told NME last year that she and the rapper were now on "such good terms" – six years after he famously stormed the stage at the MTV VMAs to claim Swift should not have won the Video of the Year prize over Beyoncé.
However, West has since released the controversial Swift-referencing track 'Famous', which includes the lyrics: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that bitch famous".
"I think the world is so bored with the saga," Swift replied when asked about West by Vogue. "I don't want to add anything to it, because then there's just more."
Swift appeared to refer subtly to West's 'Famous' lyrics during her acceptance speech at the Grammy Awards in February, saying: "I want to say to all the young women out there [that] there are going to be people along the way who are going to try and undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame."
Explaining her intentions with the acceptance speech, Swift told Vogue: "I guess what I wanted to call attention to in my speech at the Grammys was how it's going to be difficult if you're a woman who wants to achieve something in her life – no matter what."
